Over the past few years Israel has become the top travel destination. Israel is literally the holy land and Jerusalem marks its sacred center. For Christians, Jerusalem is the place where Jesus was crucified and resurrected. For Muslims, this is where Muhammad joined heaven, and for Jews, this is where the temple of Solomon stood.
Israel is filled with a fascinating range of sights, like Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa.
In the Middle East Israel faces the Mediterranean Sea. Also, Israel is home to the Dead Sea which is the lowest place on earth.

1. Jerusalem
In the 16th century the Ottoman Turks surrounded Jerusalem with the wall. Jerusalem is a modern city of about 800,000 people. The Old City's venerable walls corral a tangle of vibrant sights. Here you can see the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which is so sacred to Christians.
The Dome of the Rock, treasured by Muslims, also the Temple Mount – the holiest place in Judaism, the Western Wall. For so many people Jerusalem is the closest place on earth to heaven.
In the Old City you can taste the fresh pomegranate juice that is a symbolic bundle of fertility, also it is good for the heart and good for the blood.

2. Masada
Masada is an ancient fortress dramatically capping a mountain. It was built over 2000 years ago. In Masada you can visit the Holocaust memorial. This sprawling memorial and museum is dedicated to the six million Jews who lost their lives.
3. Tel Aviv
Just a few generations later the modern Israel was built. Tel Aviv is a young city, which is modern and it is growing fast. Tel Aviv’s infrastructure is impressive and the new buildings look to the future.
The beach has some of the best sand on the Mediterranean. In this culture, food is love. In the restaurants you can find eggplants with olive oil and tahini, hummus made from chickpeas, tabbouleh.
Do not hesitate to visit this country. You will see some different culture, different food, meet friendly people, visit some of the greatest buildings in the world. It is worth visiting.
