Standing proud on the coast of Dubai is one of the most incredible buildings on the planet. At three hundred and twenty-one meters it is the tallest hotel on Earth and possibly the most luxurious. A structure designed to amaze, its name means the Arabian Tower.
In 1999 the world’s tallest and most amazing hotel was approaching completion.
The main goal of this hotel is to amaze and shock the guest with the modern Arab palace.
Burj Al Arab was designed by multidisciplinary consultancy Atkins, led by architect Tom Wright, who has since become co-founder of WKK Architects. The design and construction were managed by Canadian engineer Rick Gregory, also of WS Atkins.
This hotel has 202 bedroom suites. Suites feature design details that juxtapose east and west. It also has a royal suite. The Royal Suite, billed at US$18,716 per night, is listed at number 12 on World's 15 most expensive hotel suites. There is also a restaurant called Al Muntaha which is accessed by a panoramic elevator. All around the restaurant you can enjoy an amazing view from the seawater aquarium.
Burj Al Arab has attracted criticism as well: "a contradiction of sorts, considering how well-designed and impressive the construction ultimately proves to be."
One of the most visited places in Dubai! It is a must if you visit Dubai! Very nice view and you will certainly get nice photos! When the weather is good (most of the year in Emirates) then you will enjoy swimming in the crystal water sea! Very nice sandy beach also.
Everyone needs to experience this wonderful hotel at least once in their lifetime. Stunning views inside and out! The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The Talise spa treatments are worth every penny. You are allowed to just take your time to enjoy the facilities without being rushed.
