At number 10 we have Little Havana also known as the Latin Quarter. This area is the home of the large Cuban community. You can visit Calle 8 which is the main road of the neighborhood. If you happen to visit the city during March don’t miss visiting the biggest street party in the U.S. that takes place right here.
At number 9 is the Biscayne, the southernmost point of the Island. On the Island itself don’t miss visiting Crandon Park which is considered the best beach for families in south Florida.
At number 8 is Seaquarium which is the oldest oceanarium in the U.S. The park offers several exhibits including a tropical reef and shark aquarium. You can also see the tropical birds.
Number 7 is the Vizcaya in the Coral Gables. This European style mansion was built in the beginning of the 20th century, and today is a museum.
If you are looking for some shopping experience at number 6 we have Lincoln Road – one of the most popular roads in South Beach. In the heart of the road you will find the road mall.
Number 5 is reserved for Coconut Grove – this great neighborhood is located south of downtown Miami. This is considered to be the center of arts in Miami with its museums and galleries.
At number 4 we have the Jungle Island. This attractive zoo is located between Miami and Miami Beach. The park used to be called the Parrot Jungle but the name was changed because this park offers so much more.
On number 3 is the high shopping center Bal Harbor which offers an upscale shopping experience as well as 100 boutiques and restaurants.
If you plan to go on vacation, on number 2 is Surfside. You can enjoy the long beach which is facing the Atlantic Ocean. There are several great beaches with white sand and great water.
Number 1 has to be the Ocean Drive, the heart of the Art Deco District.
There are more than 800 listed buildings around here and after sunset many of them are decorated with the famous South Beach antique neon lights.
