The first Garden Festival, in 2006, woke people up to the potential of Croatia, and specifically the Dalmatian region, as a breathtaking place to party. The Garden festival is an annual summer dance music festival held in the area around Šibenik, Croatia each July.
Tisno is approximately halfway between the town of Zadar and the city of Split which is a great location – not just for the festival, but also for the ease in reaching it.
The enchanting odyssey has become one of the world’s most idyllic festivals. Legendary boat parties across the dazzling Adriatic, dancing under the sun and stars at the main stage and the incredible water-side Beach Bar, partying by the trees at the new Olive Grove Stage to watching the sun come up at dawn in Barbarella’s Discotheque are all part of a truly unique experience.
There are many restaurants, luxury tents, apartment and villas that are spread around the town, along with some really fine bars. The stunning Dalmatian region offers a wealth of fun and adventure, with secluded beaches, the historic cities of Zadar and Split and many breath-taking islands to explore.
For something extra special accomodation, there are also a very limited number of beautiful airstream trailers that come equipped with a bathroom, kitchenette and air-con.
Three stages host all the acts – including a beach stage – and the infamous boat parties are as popular as ever. You really will have the time of your life.
Tickets are available now on the Garden Festival website and for 2015 you can purchase a full week’s pass for £120. The Electric Elephant Festival takes place directly after the Garden Festival in the same location, so you can also buy what’s called a “Double Whammy” pass for the amazing price of £175. It really is a great price for two weeks of relaxations and joy.
Make sure you buy your ticket on time, because the Garden Festival is really becoming international, and more visited by tourist from year to year. You won’t regret spending two weeks of the summer enjoying here.
